HS Cheer is selling treat bags again this year. We also deliver to the HS. Order forms are in the HS office and in the HS library.


Homecoming Food Drive for the Hoxie Backpack Program- October 9-13th- Grades: 7-12th
Items count as 1 point each and food will be counted and collected each day in the following classrooms: 7th- S. Rose, 8th- Heern, 9th- Miller, 10th- Ergle, 11- M. Rose, 12- Riggs. Points will count towards Homecoming Class Total.


In preparation for Hoxie Schools Veteran's Day program, EAST is requesting pictures of your veteran for our slideshow. Please, submit your digital image with the name, rank, and branch of service to erica.anglin@hoxieschools.com. When submitting hard copies, please, include return information as well. Deadline for submitting pictures will be November 1st. If you have submitted pictures in the past, you do not need to resubmit. Your veteran will still be included. Thank you.


Come out and support your Lady Mustangs fresh off of a win at Bald Knob last night. Tonight they will take on the Piggott Mohawks in Mustang gym. Student Section wear your Pink Out gear for the first home game of October.


Congratulations Hannah Riggs for being chosen the Lawrence County Farm Bureau Volleyball Player of the Week. The Lady Mustangs will travel to Bald Knob and Harrisburg this week. Come out and support them as they take on Piggott at home tomorrow night.


Congratulations Mattheis Dobbs for being named the Lawrence County Farm Bureau Football Player of the Week. The Mustangs have a bye week this week but will play Piggott next week for Homecoming.


Celebrating our students grades 7-12 with ice cream sundaes as they were successful on STAR reading and math for the month of September! We are so proud of you!

Hoxie EAST students volunteered at The Post for their monthly Community Night. Patrons received a free bowl of soup on the house! We love to serve our community. Thank you to The Post for having us.

Hoxie's EAST students will be volunteering at The Post Bakery & Bistro tonight for their monthly Community Night. From 5-8pm have a bowl of soup on the house! Bring a friend and come visit at 225 W. Main Street, Walnut Ridge.


Congratulations Lady Mustangs! The Senior High team was the winner of the bronze bracket in the JHS play day this past weekend. Your Lady Mustangs will travel to Walnut Ridge tonight. Come out and cheer for HHS!


Congratulations Gracie Felton for being named the Lawrence County Farm Bureau Volleyball Player of the Week! Your Lady Mustangs will play at home against Cave City. They will also travel to Walnut Ridge this week.


Game Time Change: The 7th grade game against Palestine-Wheatley scheduled for this Thursday, September 28, 2023 will start at 5:00 PM. The Jr high game will start at 6:00 PM.
