The power has been restored to all school buildings on Hoxie School District campus. We will continue with a full day of school.
Hoxie School District has lost electricity, Entergy is working to restore power and has estimated 10am as the time it will be restored. We have the ability to serve lunch to all students and plan to stay at school for a full day. If that changes we will notify you immediately.
Change of location: The Hoxie Ralph Joseph Class 2023-24 would like to announce that on Monday, November 6, beginning at 4:00 pm, at First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge- anyone (any age) can pick up a hygiene bag at no cost. The address is 322 SW Front Street, Walnut Ridge. Thank you!
Crider Field will have open gates at 4:30pm today for fans wanting to get here early and get a seat. If you are interested in the 3A in the 3A-3 championship game you can tune into the ASN-HS channels. What a rivalry between teams that are literally next door to each other. We are looking forward to being at Hoxie for the first ever conference championship matchup between these two teams. You can catch that game on Arkansas Sports Network - High School and youtube.com/arsportsnhs . It's going to be a great night for sports on the ASN channels. You do not want to miss it. Hoxie Schools will host a Veteran's Day program for the public in the Mustang gym next Friday, November 10, 2023 at 9am. Veterans are invited to sit in the chairs placed on the gym floor. Veterans and their families may attend the reception in the HS Health room following the event.
Seniors enjoyed attending BRTC for Bucks and Ducks. Students went on a tour and then ate bbq and participated in the games and activities. Go Blackhawks!
