I am originally from Hoxie and graduated here in 1999; I received a BS Biology from Williams Baptist College. I entered the non-traditional licensure program offered by the state of Arkansas and began teaching high school science at Harrisburg High School in 2005. During my career I have taught Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Physical science, Environmental science, Biology and AP Bio. I have also served as Science department chair, Interim Magnet School coordinator, Magnet Fair coordinator, English as a second language coordinator, and served on the leadership committee at 3 schools. I have also served as class sponsor, science club sponsor, library club sponsor, and currently as FFA co-sponsor.
I currently reside in Hoxie with my wife Steph, son Maddox and daughter McKenzie. Also stealing food in my house are our dogs Daisy and Ellie, our cat Princess and my sons fish Blue Shamu. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family, playing with our pets, hunting, fishing, trapping and watching Razorback sports. Also heckling the Cardinals and Cowboys gives me great pleasure.
