Teressa Hart

The 2015-2016 school year will be my 29th year of teaching.  I began my teaching career in 1987.  I taught at Swifton Elementary for my first 3 years and the last 25 years have been at my home school, Hoxie.  I jokingly tell my students that I haven't been able to "graduate" from Hoxie School for the last 40 years!

I graduated from Hoxie High School in 1983 and Arkansas State University in 1987 with a Balchelors Degree in Education.  I received a Masters of Education from ASU in 1991.

I started the first part of my teacher career in the sixth grade, moved to fourth grade, then to ALE-Success class and back to sixth grade math.  I love teaching math and being with the kids.

I am married to Brian Hart, who graduated from Walnut Ridge in 1982.  We have two boys, Garrett and Spencer.  Garrett graduated from Hoxie in 2011 and currently attends ASU majoring in Physical Education and Science.  Spencer graduated from Hoxie in 2014 and currently attends Lyon College in Batesville, majoring in Pre-Med Biology.

My family and I are members of United Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
