I have taught First Grade at Hoxie School for the past 30 years.  I started my career at Black Rock School and taught resource classes for two years before coming to Hoxie School.  I am a 1982 graduate of Hoxie High School and went on to graduate from ASU with my BSE in 1986.  I continued my education and recieved my MSE from ASU in 1991.

I am married to Gordon Hickman and we live in Imboden.  We have three sons together.  Our son Jake is a recent 2014 graduate of Hoxie High School and attends ASU.  My two step-sons Jason (wife Andi) and Jonathan (wife Katie) are both graduates of Sloan-Hendrix High School and also live in Imboden.   We have three wonderful grandchildren Jade, Caden and Cruze Hickman.  We also have one great-grandchild named Declan.

I am a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church located near Imboden.  I teach a class for our Wednesday night AWANAS program and also help with the Sunday School program.
