"The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education . THe . ."""""
The local chapter is set up to help students strive to gain these things through leadership contests, judging contests, and also helping the area by doing some kind of community service throughout the year.
The Hoxie High School FFA Chapter attended the National FFA Convention the week of October 18th. This was the first year for the chapter to go with me as their new advisor. We were gone from the 20th through the 23rd, while there we attended a national conference that involved 46,000 high school students from around the United States. The theme this year was infinite potenial and was centered around how all of us have infinite potential within ourselves and we should strive to do our best! The students also we to a concert, toured a career show that was full of large agriculture businesses and colleges from all of the world. This trip was a great opportunity for our students and I hope they had as much fun and learned as much as I did. I appreciate all the parental and local business support we were given. Thank you very much for everything you do for your STUDENTS!
